Archive for February, 2013

I just received notice that I have been accepted to present my work at the “Salman Rushdie in the 21st Century: Swallowing A World” Conference in Lisbon, Portugal in November. I also received information that the deadline to accept abstracts has been extended to March 31, 2013. So you still have time to get in on what I imagine and hope will be a great conference. I should thank my colleague, Shawn Edrei,  for sending me the information on this conference in the first place – it is right up my alley! Let me know if you are planning on submitting or attending – I would love to know what other Rushdie scholars are out there!
